Cooperation with United Nations bodies
- World Health Organization (WHO)
Today, ARABMED has excellent relations with the WHO. It cooperates and exchanges experiences with the WHO on a regular base. E.g., ARABMED has participated in several WHO conferences and the World Medical, which discussed matters of preventive care and health status of mothers and children while contributing to the health improvement of villages in the Golan Heights in Syria.
- Arab League
ARABMED has an advisory role to the Arab League’s Department of Health Management and Humanitarian Assistance. ARABMED provides continuous expertise and recommendations to strengthen the health sector in Arab countries. In 2010 and 2012, ARABMED contributed to proposals by the Arab League and UNFPA to strengthen the role of emigrants in advancing the health sectors in the Arab world
